7th gen maintenance

I have just touched down in the USA again after a long 9 month period over in Africa, I left my 7th gen civic unattended on base without any start ups etc. Does anyone know what I need to do to in order to bring my civic up to par?

Re: 7th gen maintenance

drain some of the fluids and replace with new (oil, gas, etc). coolant and trans fluid should prolly still be good. the tires may need to be replaced also because there will be flat spots for sitting so long in one area. when driving, you may notice a bad smell from the cat converter but it will go away after some driving. hopefully no animals got in there and started eating the wiring.

What about clutch-fluid changing. My car 2002, and now is 8 y.o. I heard that it's absorbs water and it's bad for could weather. I never did it before, can anybody tell me how to do it myself, and which fluid recommends Honda?

Re: 7th gen maintenance

i think clutch fluid is just brake fluid? in which case stick with honda oem brand and change every 3 yrs (does not depend on mileage).
