hey all, need urgent help please. i'll paypal 5 bucks if you solve this prob.


so i was wiring up a aftermerket keyless and i sent positive thru the alarm harness blue wire for parking lights. the wires heat up and now the lights don't turn on.

i did run negative constant now thru the alarm harness on the blue wire and all lights work but stay on. how can i fix this? i need lights back asap.

ANY HELP please.

well if the wires got hot, there is no fix other than to replace the wire, or it may have even damaged the alarm itself.

hey, thanks for the reply.

the alarm works fine, tis' a lx so it didn't come with factory alarm. if i run a negative current on the same blue wire on teh factory alarm harness, then the headlights/ parking lights work.

does anyone have a wiring diagram from headlight switch or know the wires i can test on the headlight switch?
