broken gear shift lever!
does anyone know where i can find automatic shift lever and how much they run for?
a little piece of the plastic broke where it holds the transmission wire in place to change the gears, so now when i try to change gear from park to reverse the whole entire lever slides without it actually changing gears.
i have managed to still be able to drive my car about but when i shift the gears i have to hold the transmisison line in place to do it.

What kind of vehicle?
For me or you?
It would take me about 10 minutes.
Go to a scrap yard and pull one out, then install it into your car, that will teach you how to do it and fix your issue.
