Need some help

Ok my car is a 04 civic and when I apply and release the clutch it makes a pretty noisy squeeking sound with the engine running and off, and also I hear a clinking sound when Im in 1st and 2nd gear when shifting

anyone happen to know what would be causing this and how to possibly correct or stop the noises??

yeah i read throught that and to me it doesnt seem neither, the squeeking of the clutch pedal has been present for quite some time and ive only been hearing the clink clink sound from 1st and 2nd gear when moving slow for the past 2yrs or so, and this civic has been in my family since the day it was bought

Try greasing the point where the rod of the slave cylinder contacts the release fork.
