2001 civic dx

My a/c blower fan wasnt working so I was checking fuses and relays then my car wouldn't start. The engine turns over but doesn't start.Ive also noticed there isn't a battery indicator light showing on the dash. I then tried putting the car in neutral to move it and i couldnt change gears(auto). When I press down on the button on the gear lever I hear a loud click(relay?) coming from the ignition area. I've rechecked the fuses many times and everything seems fine. The battery also seems good and i've tried jump starting it.
I'm guessing it's the ignition switch, a fried ecu, or a short somewhere.
Anyone have a clue on what went wrong?

Re: 2001 civic dx

I bought a OBD II scanner here's what I get:
P1753 Problem in Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Valve Circuit
P0753 Problem in Shift Solenoid Valve A Circuit
P0758 Problem in Shift Solenoid Valve B Circuit
P1768 Problem in Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Valve B Circuit
P1773 Problem in A/T Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Valve B Circuit
P0563 Engine Control Module (ECM)/Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Power Source Circuit Unexpected Voltage
P1705 Short in Transmission Range Switch Circuit (More than one range position is on at the
same time)

I also opened up the ecm relay, held the contacts together and got it to start, then it stalled.

Re: 2001 civic dx

Replaced the ECM Relay (Mitsuba RC-5009), the fuel pump relay (Mitsuba RC-5104), and the power relay right next to them. Still couldn't get it to start. I put in the old ecm relay and held the contacts together and it started right up. While holding the contacts together (for the car would not turn off) I plugged in the OBD scanner and it gave no codes.

What would make the relay not close (or open?)? It's getting 12 volts and ground. Any help?

Re: 2001 civic dx

It's not the relays, I have even switched them with a working set from my RSX that uses the same relays and it didn't start.
YLW/RED goes to ECM and has 12v with ignition on.
BLK/WHT has 12v with iginiton on.
YLW/BLK is grounded and goes to ignition.
When I close the contacts on the relay, and the ignition is on, it sends 12v to the ignition via the YLW/BLK wire. When this happens, the battery indicator and CEL come on and im able to start the car and keep it on as long as i keep the relay closed.
Any reason why it wont close by it's self? All three(rsx orig, civic orig, new) ecm relays work on my rsx. Are the voltages correct?

Re: 2001 civic dx

Turned out to be the ECU/ECM.
