could also be front windshield pillar, rattling/creaking against front dash, which if it is, i have no idea how to fix. tried the foam stuff Ronin recommends, but no luck. sadly, i'm beginning to learn to live with it.
I have that same problem. I belive mine came from fxing my dash after a thief kindly decided to upgrade my dash I think its comming from the glovebox also. I would just mess around with the glove box and see if that will work.

I pretty sure the foam trick will work. I dunno why it's not working for you. The foam has to be packed in tight. The dash creaking near the front windshield can be fixed too, using this same method. Give it another shot... or just take it in to your dealer.
The foam thing worked, I just had to put alot and i used almost 1 whole dr. scholls insole lol I used that because it was part cloth and more durable than just the regular foam
so I was really able to stuff it in there with a screw driver. thx guys

Yeah, I have it too. Thought it could even be the speaker in the door panel. Changed the speakers and didn't find it in the door. Took "everything" out of the glove box and checked it again, still there. Don't know what it is myself.
Dealer doesn't really want to "chase down" rattles. Unless "you" know where they are coming from. If someone finds them, keep us posted.

Mine did that, and I thought that it was the glovebox but I noticed whenever I had the passenger side sun visor down it would go away. I lubed the little tube thingy that the visor slides on and now its gone
Glove box in mine and my ladies 7th gen...
Just push your finger against it sitting still and rattle....
I don't know what the dealer can do about this prob. I will try to fix on my own.

I have got the same problem then I go to the dealer. They said my strut is loosen and they tighten it up, and IT WORKS!
Well....I know it deosn't make much sense for a lossen strut to cause glove box rattling..but it is the fact!
