Hi,

I'm new here. I own a 05 Honda Civic LX Sedan, I was going through members' rides pic and I found one which had something on his hood which I've been searching for ages.

I do not know what is it called, some people told me it's a deflector but when I search online to buy it most of the results comes out as Bug Shield a.k.a Car Bra.

Can someone please clearly tell me what is it called properly and where can I buy it? (I mainly prefer Ebay)

There are several things that people call that, hood defector, bug shield rock deflector, etc.

But that is definitely not a car bra.

I just looked it up, since mine is made by Perfect Fit, they call it a Hood Guard.

well I am pretty sure is called a bug shield I tried looking them up for you but I dont know the year of your car but if you google honda civic bug shield alot of results come up you just have to find the one you want....or wait until someone replys that knows exactly where the one in pic came from, well I hope this helped

I found a exact one online few days ago and ordered it immediately. It looks Sweeeeet on a Black Civic, from two feet away it makes the car look as if the tip was shinny painted, it also covers top tip of the headlights giving it a look of eyelids. Will post pics for anyone interested.

Not Recommended on silver/blue/yellow/metallic colored civics

Recommended for Red/Black/Maybe White colored civics!

looks like a big unibrown. do they make them for 01-03? and is it made out of plastic or leather?

Yes they do, I have seen it b4 on those models. These are made with Smoke Plastic and when installed they really reflect shine especially in black color civic, but not sure if it will cover ur model's headlight from top to make it seem like eyelid, but it does that on 04-05 models. If u see it from far it seems as if ur car is Angry

The Leather ones are Nose Mask/Bra which I had b4 but it looked odd, because from far it seemed as if tip of the hood was faded.

I hate the look of that hood defector, looks kinda
fat. I think its the curved part at the end of the defector. I prefer the one that is on my car now.
