So, last week I was on vacation and was slacking off on getting my tranny checked out since I know it was due for some type of maintenance. Long story short, I almost got rear ended because the gears slipped and was lucky to make it to a shop nearby.

Since I couldn't stay behind I told the guy at the shop to call me with a diagnostic and we'll talk from there. Two of my gears were burned and some other stuff wasn't looking to hot. He said it needed a master kit and i told him to upgrade the torque converter and put in a tranny cooler. All parts being replaced are being boxed up for inspection when I pick it up in a few weeks. My total cost for everything came out to $2,100.00.

How was the rear ending on the price compared to the norm?
