Advice - Buying my first Honda.
This is my 1st post & I am in the market for a new car. I want a Honda Civic. My Chevy stopped running last week & Im ready for a change!Ive only heard great things about Honda's & I am hoping my new "used" car will last me a long time!
I am looking for used because that is what I can afford right now.
I found a 2001 Civic EX in my area for $5900.00. Selling way under Kelly Blue Book. It has
101,000 miles
Power Windows, Doors, Sunroof,
Seller states that it is in Good Condition & Normally would sell for $7500
Pictures look Great & I have not test drove it yet.
Hope its not a lemon
Re: Advice - Buying my first Honda.
drive it, get it checked out, and buy it, its a great car, ull love it, is it a manual trans? ex means vtec, and 5900 isnt bad at all, welcome to the site, and good luck with the car
Re: Advice - Buying my first Honda.
Its an Automatic!
Is 101,000 a lot of miles for a Honda Civic?
My 2001 Malibu had 141,500 & just too a crap on me. (2000 bucks in repairs to fix - & im not fixing)

no, 100000 miles isnt a lot of miles on a civic, and automatics arent as much fun as manuals, but that is preference

Re: Advice - Buying my first Honda.
the auto trans will prolly give out soon. most dont last past 100k miles from 01-03 civics due to a defective clutch what wears out faster than normal.
