okay now a new problem

okay now a new problem
Alright the battery cables werent the problem. I pulled the steering column cover and pulled the ignition switch and i used a screwdriver to try and start it to see if that was the problem. It started right up. Is it the lock cylinder? What else besides that could it be. because when i put it back together it wouldn't start. Please help.
