ok guys i have two issues with my car and i was wondering if they are problems or something that happens with all civics.

1. i JUST got my oil changed, but the oil smells like gas. i'm pretty sure the oil is new b/c it was dark b4 the change and now is golden.

2. when my car is running with the hood open, the engine is shaking. its not a smooth continous shaking, its a random shaking as if the engine is missing. but when i look at the tach, the rpm is steady.


are these problems!??!

Nope.. the 5w20 Oil Honda dealers use smells a wee bit like because it's a pteroleum product.. 2.. Everyo's engine does that at idle..that's the problem with inline 4 cyl engines..Very poor balancing..
