Valve Cover Swap, Anyone done this?

Valve Cover Swap, Anyone done this?
Alright, I'm curious if we can swap our valve cover out with a 6th gen. Ours being the 7th d-series lump. I understand that there's the whole plug wire thing going on, and mount points for various bracketry. But my main concern is do the plug holes line up and do the mating surfaces on the top of the head line up as well?

Has anyone done this or do I need to go lay down before I hurt myself?

There's no dipstick hole and I think the 7th gen one is much taller. Easiest way is to just pull it off and try it.

Yes you can swap it. The bolts line up and everything.

Only problem is no dipstick hole!

Thanks guys, its a moot question now as I'll be buying SQL's beat-up old A1 VC. Need a powder coat stand-in!
