Emergency! Tie Rod Warped

The one thing I feared most has happened. The tie rod tread was warped from me banged it to get it off the strut, im putting on new struts. Since the bottom end of the tread is warped, I had to use force to screw it on, when I did this I noticed the whole tread was moving along with the screw! So I guess I broke it off or something inside. What the hell do I do? I got it as tight as I could by holding on to the tread with pliers, but the screw only went up a little, I haven’t got it passed the hole that the cotter pin goes in. How am I going to fix this? I have to move the car, can I at least drive it a little or is that to risky?

What do I do? This sucks big *** *****.

Am i just going to have to buy a new tie rod end? If so do i just get Part # 8?
