Honda Reliable?

I went to my dealership today to get the heat shields taken off of my cat converter because of excessive rattling. They had it on the lift obviously. Tonight I went to check my neons to make sure they were all working correctly and with my luck one is broken. Are they reliable for breaking it? Should I call them up asking for them to pay for it?

reliable is the wrong word... you should be using the word "responsible"

and unless you have pics of yer car on the lift and pieces of yer neons all over the ground yer out of luck

the way I look at it is I put cars on lifts everyday and when I position the lift under the car I pay attention to anything under there, so in a way they could be responsible, but I also look at it like if you didnt warn them before you took it in that the car had underbody lights, there is no going back now and saying it is broke. they can say it may have happened on your way home. you cant prove they did it.

Yeah I don't even use them much anymore so maybe I should just take them off. I have the 7 Color changing LED ones. I noticed that its just the green that is out but Blue and Red work fine. All the other colors dont since they need green to make the color. It may just be the wire opened where the green wire was so I am going to check that.

ya leds are usually tough, mine were neons and the inside of the tubes were shattered. too much of a pain although they looked great and got me pulled over the first night after install (blue, lol). they were so bright i loved em
