took a sharp turn and car just died!!!
I was driving on the highway and then I entered an off ramp and I gave it some gas and everything was fine. At the end of the ramp where it merges into the other road the car all of the sudden died. I rolled to a stop and tried to start the engine. The car cranks over but it doesn't start what the hell could be wrong. I checked all of the fuel lines, injectors and the coil packs. The oil light came on but I just put brand new oil in it. I hope someone can help me. Thanks.

well if it cranks, but doesnt start, you have either a fuel related issue or ignition issue. And if the oil light came on before it died and you just changed the oil, go check the oil level to be sure.

this thread already has an answer. oil or fuel starvation. both are bad for the engine. and it happened because you were low on fuel or oil, or both.
yeah that happened to my jetta after i changed the oil, and i didnt think it was the oil, because i was so used to warning lights coming on(i mean it was a VW product) and 2 weeks later i need new valves and remachining of my head. be careful!

I am working on the car right now to find out what the problem is. The car as a half a tank of gas and the oil level is good. I think it's a electrical problem and hopefully I'll find out. Thanks guys.

yea its the electrical problem....ummm dont know what is it called but my car died once too for no reason....and the problem turned out to be an electrical wire in the fuel sensor tank....(the unit underneath rear passenger seat that leads to the gas tank)
