so i took my civic to the dealer along with my TSB report stating the problem (thanks marc). to replace the gears in the tranny is $2k. they told me i had to call the corp. in order to be considered for goodwill. has anyone else done this? and if so, what did they ask you and what did you have to do? i was told they will ask for recipts but in an automotive student so i have unlimited access to the shop. oil changes and tranny fluids are done by me. do they ask for recipts? any help would be great, and i need it ASAP.
