i hope someone can help me, well i just installed my new header yesterday and i took off the battery and the ECU fuse to get rid of that CEL (check engine light), then everything went well until i drove to the freeway.... it turned on agian. and yea, i just realize that my radio is asking a code so i can turn it on... do you guys know the code? and how do i get rid of that Engine light?

installed obx header and hooked up the sensors back on (two of em)
i have civic lx 04-05.

since you have an LX model, your cat converter is part of the stock exhaust manifold so your new or aftermarket header doesnt contain that. so even if you re-installed the o2 sensors, the second o2 sensor that monitors the cat detects a fault, that is why the check engine light is on. The second one monitors the cat converter efficeny, so if the cat isnt there, your going to get a CEL. There is a part you can use, I forgot the name of it, someone will mention it, its on the tip of my tounge, but...... I think it is the MIL eliminator.

With the radio code, know one will know it except the dealer. each honda radio has a specific code. Check your glove box for the radio code. its on a card. otherwise go to the dealer and they will look it up for you.

nice.. thanks streetglower, it is actually the MIL eliminator and i bought one already.. hopefully works!!

and the code for radio.. yep your right its on our glove box where are manual is and there is a card attach to it... shoot that was easy! lolz

oh btw, for 04-05 lx, if i bought an sway bar rsx, do i simply bolt that in or i have to do some mod or buy somehting else?
