Why would i be hearing alot of what sounds like air coming out of my exhaust at or near the cat converter or possibly the header... It sounds like its pushin air out at those parts when i push the gas... I have no idea what the problem is..

jack your car up and put two jackstands on the front. Use the jack itself to jack the downpipe up onto the header (be very gentle) the spring screws should get more play thus you'll be able to tighten the downpipe(cat) to the header more securely. If you dont tighten the header and downpipe correctly you'll risk overheating your car on long highway trips. And burn up your fan, o2 and temp wiring.

sometimes headers and downpipes don't mate perfectly...so you'll have an exhaust leak. Your bolts are tightened but they need to be tightened more to stop the leak. BTW do you have a proper gasket between the header and downpipe. If not go to a exhaust shop and get them put it on and bolt it up for you. Shouldn't cost alot, it'll run you maybe $6 for the gasket. and 5-20mins for them to bolt it up properly without any leaks. Mine was so loud i couldn't be on the phone when driving
