Water Leak

I have a water leak on the passenger side floor only on the carpet and up against the console(where it meets the floor) all the way up the dash. Now before I get flamed I searched all the way back too 2003 and none of them where similar to what I am exp. I even took it to the dealer and they said most of the cars that come in with a leak its usually the ac condenser(sp)tube well they checked it and it was not the issue. They want it for a full day but I am leary to leave my car in the hands of hackers. I do all my own work but I fear this is beyond me. What do you guys think?? I can post pics but i suck at it. Btw this only happens when it rains. I tried to hose it but no leak. I pulled the carpet and its dry under it just to let you know.

ummmm its a known issue, but I can't remember for the life of me what the cause was. I think it was a TSB, but start by checking and making sure all the drains are unclogged (under the windshield, roof line, etc.... and make sure water isn't backing up. Also try pulling out the cabin filters and see if they're wet. You may have water coming in there, or around the inlet vent from a broken seal or something.
Also pull up the carpet, etc... just see if you may have a hole or damage in the floor.

Thanks for the reply. I grew some wevos yesturday and tore it apart. I pulled the cabin filters and they where wet so I pulled the blower motor and noticed the clip that holds the passenger side window cowling was leaking and wet. So I replaced the whole pass cowl and silicone sealed the little clip. If this is what leaked on my car(which i will find out when it rains) it may be true for others. I will repost if cool and maybe post some pics. I hope it one day may help others.
