Type R is top of the line model geared toward performance ie no cruise control, no sunroof, only one to make it was Integra 98-01
Type S are usually only on Acura's usually a better model with more goodies.

Rep Power: 0 a true TypeR is all performance.. btter suspension, sportseats, manual, no goodies like a/c or cruise..
Type-S.. Sports.. more "sporty" sometimes upgraded engine and suspension.. like the RSX Type-s 6 speed tranny.
