unsure problem

hi guys i just got this problem after installing my amp 1600w today. the charging system indicator, low oil pressure indicator and malfunction indicator lamp appears was wondering if this was a common problem for civic? ty

YES! LOL!

The poor little civic doesn't have that much power. You should switch to an optima yellow top, and you may need a new alternator.

will red top work? is this the model that you were talking about but red?

Sure, a red top is still wayyy stronger than the stock battery. The yellow top is recomended if you run a lot of ICE because it has more reserve power to push those amps when the engine is off.

Either way it's a big improvement.
