Buying the book would be the best way. Step by step directions are the way to go. Get the book, you'll thank yourself later.

what kinda tools you working with? if you have a good set of air tools, ratchets etc plus a engine hoist, you should be able to get the motor out and new one in within 2 days. Have you taken apart your car some? (head swaps etc) theres not much to it once you start pulling stuff off.

honestly, It shouldnt even take a day to remove an old engine and put in a new one. All you really need to do is disconnect the main wiring harness from the ECU then from the bulkhead and whatever hoses, exhaust piping, fuel lines, and disconnect the tranny from the engine and what not and remove the mounts and drop the engine. you really dont even need a manaul. But I know someone on here will post the instructions from the manaul. Or here is a DIY from the DIY section

Now if the engine you are going to install already has the wiring harness and everything else, it shouldnt take very long. With a couple of friends, it can be done in several hours.
