my abs is acting real lame.

when i pull up to an intersection it will go off periodically for no reason even on nice days with clear roads.

the abs light will come on for a second and then go off

the pads and rotors are fine, i still have tread on the tire.

the dealer looked @ it and said it looked fine .

no way! it sounds like a powertrain issue. only happens when i pull up to an intersection and only when braking.

any ideas? i didn't see a recall notice.

how hard do you brake?

whats your wheel/tire size?

this can happen on gradual breaking or hard breaking . it will also happen when the car is in neutral( 5 speed ex) and i apply the break.

sounds like a problem to me, ive only had abs engage maybe 5 times since ive got the car, and never on a nice day, just on snow and ice. its definitely a problem if it engages on a nice day on light braking. see if you can find a pattern to it so you can reproduce it for the dealer and take it back
