help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hey can any one help me?
i have a 2003 civic coupe 1700 vtec! quite a rarity over here in the uk
the other day it slid across the road and hit a lamp post at 10mph no damage to lamp post and the plastic bollard in front of it!
my car got a bent bonnet (hood) broken bumper, and burst radiator,
as the car is so uncommon here no body can supply a replacement rad for the 1700! all they can come up with is the rad for a 1600 would they fit?
also what tyres(tires) do you recommend? it has pirrelli p600s fitted and they are **** slide all over the place in the dry and a night mare in the wet, and always spinning up!

if by 1600 and 1700 you mean the cc's.. then the 1600cc civic radiator won't fit ... unless it's the same body style (same as yours 01-05, but smaller engine).
I'm not sure what brand of tyres u have in the uk ... you may want to try a high performance tyre ... pirelli pzero nero's are good ... goodyear eagle f1 gs-d3's are excellent.

Well, if you don't wan to fork over the cash, just go through your insurance and you all you have to worry about is you premium hikes which shouldn't be too much jsut after an accident.
But from the looks of it, you may have a lot more damage than just the hood/bumper and rad. I wouldn't cheapen out on the repairs of a rare car in the UK.

that would be my suggestion as well. Best of luck to you
am not going the insurance route cos my excess is £500 and ive priced the new parts up at £600 from honda dealers, and only being 22 with 2 years of driving the insurance hikes will be astronomical i think
