Check this out!
[Whats crackin?
So this morning I took my car into Honda to see if they could tell me what is wrong with my car. (car makes rattling noise at idle, until clutch pedal is pushed down..then rattle goes away.) Anyways, i just got off the phone with Honda and I was told its a problem with the transmission...something about the...oh fvcked if i know..but something with the transmission. They told me they can't release my car to me because an adjuster has to come out and see if its going to be covered by my extended warrenty (i have the 1 with no deductible, the most expensive one)
i have 2 questions...1, is it normal for an adjuster to have to come out and inspect the car? 2, does having heavy duty clutch, light flywheel void the transmission warrenty?]
thanks for lookin

Yeah prolly pretty much ef'd due to the Aftermarket stuff in there.........they could tie it in to your problems in one way or another. But hey who knows you might get a good adjuster or those morons may not even notice......dont say nothing unless they ask you first

holy fvck. just got off the phone with Honda...he told me its going to be $3700 to replace the whole transmission! i about **** a brick...then he called me back..and said since its a stick its going to be considerably less...but they have to take it apart and see exactly whats wrong with it..then they can give me a price.
they're still not sure if the warrenty is going to cover it..the adjuster took pics of all my modified stuff and they will let us know by tomorrow
either way.... 2 weeks with no car! fvck i hope the warrenty covers this...

yeah..but im not going to take it anywhere else. there aren't many good shops around my town...and probably not 1 that I would trust my car at. either the warrenty is going to cover it...or im going to have to pay the thing myself...but i'd rather get raped on the price by Honda and have it done right then take it to a hole in the wall shop that will not give a **** about my car.
i guess this is what they made credit cards for, this sucks

around here we got like 30 good shops to replace a tranny. Prices are really good cause there are so many used trannys on the market!
anyway good luck
why don't you just open transmission yourself it's easy but it's a pain in the a$$ i don't know who installed those parts maybe the bolts are loose or something and maybe he never use locktite..
