Question cat. converter rattling

ok, i know there is a rattling coming from my cat and i think it might be a piece of broken off honeycomb loose in the cat. What i wanted to know is if there is a way to fix the problem without a complete replacement or going back to stock. Is it possible to push out the broken piece with some rebar or somehow get knock it out, even if it means that the cat no longer functions like it should and just looks likes it works. info please

Sounds like you already have the answer. It takes a little muscle though. It doesn't come out easily. Your exhaust is going to sound different also.
