Silver7thgen_ex has a little shameless behaviour in the past
My first and only guess is that the bolts holding the hood to the stock mounts are loose enough for the hood to start shifting around. I used to have an eclipse GS-t with a bomex hood, and had that problem, threw a couple of lockwashers and a tad of loctite on the bolts and never had that problem again. Cant promise you that will work, but try it. Just loosen all the bolts enough to move it around, set it where you want it and try it again. it should work for you.
