I need you input on my headlight...please help??

Hey Guys/Girls, I need some advice....

I have a leaky passenger side headlight in my 02 civic SIG. Now, can some of you please give me a honest opinion how hard it is to change this? I am aware that I have to remove the bumper which I beleive is just held on by the 2 screws in each wheel well, 4 clips under the hood and 5 or 6 underneath the front. Any other surprises?? Once I get it off, is it very trick to get it back on...or anything elso I should be aware of? Are the bolts which hold the headlight housing in place easy to get too, and should I aim it before I put the bumper back on?

Thanks for any input...I just don;t want to get in over my head half way through. Oh, a buddy will be helping me too if I decide to do this myself.

Jer

I think the hardest part about it would be taking apart the headlight. I tried it one time several years ago and the old silicone got everywhere. I tried putting the light in the oven for a few minutes and pulling it apart. I gave up and ordered headlights. Now Taking the bumper apart takes 5-10 minutes. As you said, a screw in each wheel well, 4 clips on the top and several underneath, then it comes off. Then there are 2 or 3 screws which hold the headlight to the car.

Thanks! I have a new headlight so dont need to worry about re-sealing it....just installing it. Sounds like I should go for it!

Thanks!
