Talking SparkPlug Wires question?? :)

Wanted to know if butting better Sparkplugs wires makes a difference, Any performace gains, better gas milege. Or is it just a waste of money.

01+ civic uses direct ignition (coil packs). The ignition coils are the part you pull out to change the spark plugs. More efficient than wires.

opps didnt know that. ALso i got my car at 81000 miles, you think its a good idea to change the spark plugs. Dont know if the last owner did it or not. Can i take them out to see if they need replacement or are worn out.

Yes you can pull them out and look to see if the electrodes are worn down or if the plugs are severly fouled. I would go ahead and chage them anyway. At 81K miles, you never know what the last owner did.

Will do when i get off work. Also how much ya think them sparkplugs gona cost me. I heard they take predium sparkplugs or somethign like that.

either denso or iridium, either one will work. Those plugs usually run between $30-$50 for the set.

www.sparkplugs.com I believe the plugs for our cars are double platinum and you can do a search to find the exact ones.
