first civic problem yay!!! :(

ok so when i open the door the dome light doesnt go on anymore.. but i can still turn it on with the switch second - it will not give me a warning if my lights are on when i open the door or keys in the ignition .. i have a viper alarm if that makes any difference.

damn i had that same problem make sure your tail lights stil lwork too. check the under hood fuse its called backup light.

I JUST HAD THIS PROBLUM!!!! and i fixed it,...Check the"rubber springy" thing on the door jam and make sure it still pushes back,..if not its been knocked out of its hole thing,..jut have to take pannel off and put back....

in my last car. there was alittle switch on the door. if that switch breaks it dont know the door is open. you know what i mean. i dont know if thats how our vics work, but it somthing to check out.

ya it was the switch that the door pushes in when its closed.. i kept my alarm armed and unlocked my door and opened it and nothing.. so thats i how i figured it out ..
