Gas/RPM problem
i adjusted my throttle cable, and i didnt like it.. so i set it back close to how it was.. now when i turn on the car, it idles at 800-1000rmps,but after i drive a lil, it goes down to 600-700rmps.. and now, its starting to eat gas. the gas might be cuz i filled mine at fast track (i was riding on E and it was the closest gas station).. but the rmps kinda bug me.. help

i asked my friend about this (he knows alot bout cars) n he told me about the rpms is that it does that so it warms up quicker.. but yet, it didnt do that before.. and as for the gas, it turns out to be fast track.. they have crappy gas
That's "almost" normal. To answer the first question, I dont know about the milage problem, but it is supposed to to idle around 700 after its warm. It idles higher after starting b/c the choke tells it too. Like Hote said, its the way to keep the engine from stalling when cold and to get it to warm up faster.
I say "almost" b/c after starting, it should idle around 12-1300. So if anything, when you re-adjusted your cable, you set the idle a little too slow.
