Clutch or tranny??? Need help fast, Im stuck at work!

First off, I have a 01 LX w/97000 miles. Its turbo'd on the original clutch still !

Ok, I just got to work, and I had a prob on the way to work, and about a week ago. A week ago, I was driving, and as I went to shift, I pushed the clutch in, let the car out of gear, and tried to shift. Only prob is the clutch didnt come back out, so I couldnt shift into gear. Well, this morning, I boosted slightly, maybe 4lbs, just enough and some to get in front of traffic. After that my clutch started feeling funky. It has no pressure on it until pressed in half way, and sometimes, it feels as if it may get stuck again. I had to pull it out with my hand last week, and it drove/felt fine after that. Does anybody know why, and do I need to change my clutch, or is my tranny going?? Thanks a lot!

Peace

Thanks for the overwhelming number of responses! Got some good help here, lol.

Well, I am going to order my clutch today Im hoping, or monday, than Ill go pick up a new master and slave cylinder. Ill get the clutch installed, flywheel resurface, and slave cylinder installed. If it fixes the prob, Ill just return the master cylinder. Im hoping I dont have to use it. But this should fix my prob. And I only need a couple hundred to do all this, so its not too bad. Getting my Exedy Organic, FINALLY as well.

Hey, I just now saw your post. But at 97k and boost.... I'd suspect the clutch. BUT I have had the clutch master cylinder go bad and had similar problems. My clutch went to the floor, and after a few pumps it was OK again. This went on for a few weeks before I finally replaced the cylinder. Anyhow, looks like you got it covered.

Sorry, Bro... I know that sucks when you REALLY need an answer fast and no one responds... Seems like if I ask a dumb question that is completely unimportant, I always get 30 answers in 5 minutes.

I suspect the Clutch too. Shouldn't AutoZone and Pep Boy Stock that, do you really need to order it? Or are you getting a stage I or II or something cause your boosted?
Anyway... make sure to look over all the linkage too

haha, thanks a lot, people do seem to respond to crappier posts. I got home fine, I went to a shop, and they said wait til my clutch is in, and bring it to another shop, lol. They didnt want to do it for free I guess. I am ordering the Exedy Organic clutch, hopefully getting it overnighted today. if slp contacts me. I think it is the master cylinder, cuz there is no pressure on the pedal at all. It has pressure for about 2" of it near the floor, but it flops down until there. I can shift fine, but dont trust that I will be able to drive it for more than 10-20 miles. Im not driving it until I get it to the shop. I started my car yesterday since it had been a couple days, and it started like ***. The whole car sort of wobbled, very smoothly, but it shook a lot. Pumping it does give a little bit of pressure back as well. I am going to replace the clutch and slave cylinder, and see if that fixes it. If not, Ill throw the master cylinder in there.
