Loud bang on 1st and 2nd gear redline

duno if this issue has been brought up before. this happens rarely but it scares the crap outta me when it happens because it is so loud. i'll redline first gear and shift to 2nd and just as i step on the gas on 2nd gear a loud BANG sound comes from underneath me. almost like a backfire but its not. i can feel it on the gas pedal as well. someone told me it can be valve overlap but i need some more input on this issue. once again this happens rarely and only when i redline it.

Civic_RedLine will become famous soon enough
what do you mean redline? do you go over 7k rpms? once you go over it will stop u from going over so maybe thats the reason. But why would you redline your car? just keep it aat 7k max rpms and see if it does that cuz it shouldnt unless your cars messed up
