Loud bang after 1st or 2nd gear redline

duno if this issue has been brought up before. this happens rarely but it scares the crap outta me when it happens because it is so loud. i'll redline first gear and shift to 2nd and just as i step on the gas on 2nd gear a loud BANG sound comes from underneath me. i can feel it on the gas pedal as well. someone told me it can be valve overlap but i need some more input on this issue. once again this happens rarely and only when i redline it.

Is it the tranny or the wheels making the sound? It could be axle tramping or wheel hop, losing maybe just a wee bit of traction?

Check your motor mounts, Check the tranny mounts.. ect.... it may just be the exaust hitting the floorpan. (worn motormounts will allow the engine to twist more in the engine bay and that could cause the exaust to move and bend enought to hit the floor pan.)
