loud catback system (help)

Does anyone know how to reduce noise from a catback system. I brought a Fireball catback (cheap $200 w. S/H) from ebay and now i am regretting it. the silencer is on too.
The sound gets louder the faster i go and if i am not pressing the gas it stays low when i am going around 60mph.

I heard that you could add a glasspack muffler after the cat to reduce the noise.

I really don't want to take off the whole catback since it's already install and i am broke now. lolz. So please let me know what i can do to reduce the noise.

Thanks.

you can probably purchase a better silencer from apexi or 5zigen but cant gaurantee it'll reduce noise level.

Does it have a resonator? If not, adding one would quiet it down.

Wow thankx, so glass pack isn't it.
but i had this readup on this web site and they said it keeps sound police away.

http://store.summitracing.com/
click "Shop Online Store"
then click on "Exhaust" on the department
then click "muffler and resonators"
then go down to Dynomax Performance Exhaust
then click "Dynomax Thrush Magnum Glasspack Mufflers "

sorry their link wouldn't let me copy the address that go directly into that page

the catback i got is really silence except when i go at a higher RPM then it's loud.
what you think if i change the muffler part to something like apexi muffer that isn't those can muffler.

get another one, those non-emmissions legal mufflers will be louder. I think cuz they dont have a sound suppresion. For legal exhaust, it has to sound lower than 95 db or something? you cant do anything, my friend with b16 motor has a cheapo exhaust, and damn that thing is loud! even with the silencers. Its not nice loud, its nasty loud. I hope thats not how yours is.

i noticed that a resonator helps a lot. i got a tsudo cat n1 style catback and it was nice with the resonator and i took it off 2 months ago. its extremely loud right now and when its cold it sounds all riced out, but when it warms up it sounds really nice and deep, but very loud. get a resonator.

Hey that's what i got. i got the Tsudo cat fireball extreme. Sorry guyz, when i say loud i don't mean nasty loud, it's got the really nice deep tone to it. I just got tire of the sound.

I think my catback should have a resonator.
