Rep Power: 0 Idles at 400 and kinda sputters like its gonna die
Hey guys it basically what the title is. I just installed my Random tech cat. and my Kamikaze headers and it ran great and idle at about 1gs. But after a while it started idleing at 400 and it bounces the tach...400-600-400-600 and you can hear it in the exhaust. Any clue whats up? I also shortened my throttle cable about 6 months ago with no problems until now.

Rep Power: 288 its not the throttle cable.. if you screw that up it will only rev higher..
as to why its idling so low.. im not sure.. normal idle for our cars is about 700 once it warms up..
theres a lil screw somewhere that will adjust the idle.. but im not exactly sure where it is. ive never had look for it on a car less that 20 years old..

Rep Power: 788 Reset the ecu and do the idle learn procedure. Then if that doesn't work read my sticky about idle adjust in vehicle probs forum.

Rep Power: 788 Um just open the fuse box next to the battery and pull out the FI ECU fuse for a few secs and put it back. Check the manual to see which one that is. Then let the car idle 10 mins without any accessories on and without pressing the gas. Oh and you need to fully warm up the car first before pulling the fuse.
