i was cleaning out the trunk today.. and i lifted the "floor" or whatever you wanna call it to clean out around the spare.. and on the drivers side has no black sound deadening mat thing like the rest of the trunk does (or whatever that stuff is).. and so the lil fiberboard thing is rubbing all the paint off so my guess is its only a matter of time before it starts to rust..

i looked through like 20587205782805728957 members rides and no one has pics of this area (stock) so i cant tell...

also what is that vent for?

proly the vent to let the pressure out of the car when you shut the doors and such.

wtf... why the heck would they leave that out.. it even looks retarded not to mention the fact that the paint is all sh!tted up.. bastards..

the vent is on the drivers side sorta below the tail lights on the inside of the trunk.. i also found two under the front seats.. my guess is those just help get air to the back so it heats/cools up faster when you have the heat/ac on.. but what the hell is a vent doing in the trunk.. i didnt know civics were big mafia cars.. and even so.. in that case its usuially a "body" in the trunk.. not a person..

also if im right about the vents under the seats.. if i blocked them off a lil would it boost the air in the front a lil or would it just screw things up.. or both..
