my civic=K.O.

another turbo vic down the drain! i have a disconnected rod in one of my cylinders. iknew there was a good chance my civic wouldnt live through this turbo project....but i thought I would break it by doin somethin stupid. anyway, no, the little o ring on my oil filter came off, a little section of it was like disformed and all the oil leaked out. i didnt leave the old ring on there or anything....the guy at the shop blames it on a defective oil filter. anyway, to make a long story short i need a D17A2. my uncle and i are going to put it in over thanksgiving break. anyway, PM me or send message to SirPicel on AIM if you got a motor or know where i could get one--thanks.

2 of my rod bearings went out this week and its cheaper to get a new engine than it is to repair the bad bearing , did you remove the oil pan to find the damage?

no i didnt, i havent really had a chance to look at it. i dont really know what to think...it still runs--but something tells me i need a new motor.--it could be the sound of a rod whippin around in there.
