Stereo Removal on 2004 Civic Sedan EX
What is the easiest way to remove the stock stereo in a 2004 Civic Sedan EX???
I downloaded the official Honda Installation Guide on CD/Cassette Player Installation and it said you've got to pull the console, the cigarette lighter section and then finally you can get to the stereo removal. But there has got to be an easier way...any suggestions!?
THANKS!

What I had to do what different from the link from Cambo.
This is what I had to do on my 04 coupe. I am a professional car audio installer, and even the database I have at work didn't have the update for the newer console
1. You have to pull the section around the shifter out
2. take out 2 screws that are exposed
3. remove the horseshoe section by pulling the sides out and then the whole thing back, and disconnecting the cig lighter harness
4. take out 2 bolts from under the opened section of the dash. These are going through a metal brace and screwed into the radio bezel brace
5. Push up and out on the bezel brace. Watch the bottom of the bezel to guide yourself
6. Disconnect the harnesses and remove the radio bezel assembly
7. Remove 3 screws holding the HVAC controls
8. Remove 4 screws from radio, 2 per side
9. Remove 4 screws from pocket, 2 per side
Unfortunately there is no easier way

Yeah, the 04 Sedan isn't like what cambo suggested. I believe the 04 Coupe & Sedan interiors are the same...has a push down cover for the cup holders. Anyway, 04civicvp for the instructions and link with pics. That's really gonna help me out.
THANKS!!
