Are you still using the stock Head Unit?

They probably forgot to plug in the antenna (stock deck), or connect the power antenna wire (aftermarket deck).

Like Gearbox said, check and make sure the aftermarket unit has an antenna adapter plugged in. It might be loose during the install or they unplugged it and forgot to put it back.

Well when they install an amp, they still need to pull the head unit out to get to the rca outputs... See if they unhooked something they shouldnt have.

is the power antenna wire connected to the harness?? I know we don't have one per say, but you need that connected for the rear window antenna to work.

just curious but do sedans have a power antenna wire on the deck?

i was reading a honda tsb that explained the difference between the coupe deck and the sedan one.

it said that the sedan deck w/ green led's also dont have the antenna power wire so therefore the sedan deck is not usable in a coupe.

Is it a 500/1? If it is, the problem is internal to the amp itself, The 500 is a Class D, and for some reason the internal circuits of the amp transmit a RF that can be picked up on AM especially, with some discernible distortion on FM as well. JL is aware of the problem, and is working on a fix as we speak. BTW, I have the same problem in my car.

I get no AM in my coupe and some FM is a bit shady. All connections are good. I have a Kenwood deck and MTX amp. I listen to 95% CDs so it doesn't really bother me but it would be nice if it worked properly
