yea..Wat Up People..I JuSS Got Some money and im ready to get my '01 civic tinted!!..okay i live in New York so i guess u cant go pat 35%..well i think thats to light? is 30% or 25% dark enough without getting caught??? Can u peeps also be kind enough to send me pics of ur car with tints and their percentages so i can comparE? ThankS

I have a black sedan with 35% and it sucks - wayyyy too light - looks like a light smoke. Even at night, in the rain/snow, you can still see through. I know people with 20% and 15% and they haven't had a problem....yet. You know you can get a ticket so just watch your *** if you go dark. There's a pic in my profile - not a good one but so you can get an idea.

aww damnit..lol i just noticed i posted this thread in the vehicle issues part..lol sorry peeps..didnt realize it..but i guess its a problem..lol..c'mon im dying to get my windows tinted right now? nemore suggestions..thanks jojo.

i live in cali and have a sedan and got my back at 20% and my very front at 50%. it makes a big differnce. i haven't got in trouble yet. 20% might be the safest bet if you want to go darker than 35%

check mine out i got 15% on mine..theyre pretty str8..theyre illegal here in miami but since theres so much sun they seem lighter..but at night time you cant see diddly squat inside


bad thing is that SOMETIMES when im turning left i gotta look through my windshield to see where im going cuz the tints are too dark to let me see from the drivers angles..i basically gotta lean all the way forward and look out thrugh the front

I had two cars...Maxima and an Eclipse...before the civic...don't go past 20% if you don't want a po po to make you take it off...they do it for their safety and will not think twice about ripping it off...

sorry, forgot to mention that my last two cars had 20 on the front windows and 5 on the backs...the back had to be taken down on the max...the eclipse was never caught...good luck
