Progress sway bar rattle

first i want to say i searched already.

i understand that i need to bend my stock exhaust in order to aleviate the rattle im getting from my progress rear sway bar. my question is which part of the exhaust do i need to get bent. im pretty sure its the muffler but which part?

i went to a muffler shop today and asked them if they could bend it and they said they would have to cut and weld on an addition in oder to space out the exhaust from the bar. told her, "aint no cuttin on my civic"

can someone please tell me if i can bend this at home or something i have lots of tools

thanks

yeah my car is lowered, so when u said you extended your piping, does that mean u have to cut and weld on a piece on your exhaust

it cost me only 20 bucks

i would do it myself since now my friend has a welder. just get a 2 inch( 2.25 piping maybe). cut the stock pipe, more the muffer back, and weld the insert between.

Just go buy exhaust wrap and put it on sway bar.

Progress setup hits my stock exhaust too.
