Is iT Just ME?

Well, i just got a 2001 honda civic ex..pretty cool..well i've been driving around a few days and i have noticed something funny about the fuel guage readingd..the other day the fuel guage read a half a tank..i came home and it was still on half a tank (didnt drive long) The next morning i go to start it and it reads a quarter below the half mark? my maxima never did that? and so far this has been happening..also i dunt think im getting the mileage for a civic? does any1 now how many miles a car can go on a full tank so i can compare it to mines..Thanks

how do you guys measure your mpg? do you just fill it up all the way and then see how far you go until you run out? or is there some tool to measure it? because i want to measure it but i don't want to run the risk of emptying out in the middle of nowhere.

reset your trip meter on your fill up...the next time you fill up...take the number of miles (in your case km) and divide that by how many gallons you JUST filled (again...liters in your case) and that's it...example: i just drove 325.5 miles before i filled up yesterday...it took 10.sumtin to fill up...325.5/10 gave me 32.5 mpg

one funky thing I've noticed with my 2k1 EX - If I fill up the tank with the key in the ignition turned one position on - my fuel guage will take 2 days or so to start acting right. Not sure exactly what causes this...but now I turn it all the way off when I fill my tank.

They should install the thing from the Hybrid that just tells you how many miles you're currently getting.
