The mysterious whistle problem
Ive seen a few threads a while back discussing a faint whistling noise inside the car at idle. Its not the stereo, its not the A/C.
Its the power steering pump. I got tired of hearing it so I took my car in and they told me thats what it was immediately. So, if any of you are still putting up with the whistle, thats what it is and it is covered by even the basic warranty. I hope this helps atleast somebody.
