transmission wont shift??

It will drive but it wont shift out of 1st gear? Any ideas what is wrong?

Your auto trans won't shift itself out of 1st? Sounds like another Civic auto tranny down the tube. If you're still under warranty, they'll replace it for you.

most likely your throttle position sensor is bad, and will probably need a new throttle body, that fixed my problem, my car wouldnt shift out of first either, now everything is fine.

my tranny wont **** outta first too it slipps and revs all the way up and sometimes decides to shift into 2nd but still revs all the way up with out moving the car.......can someone send me the tsb on this so i can be prepared to take it to the dealer adn tell them to fix it for free
