I see people buying ACT flywheels and pressure plates or wutever and all that hoohah. Being a n00b and all, I wouldn't know what that does. Say I've peeled out like only 4 times in the year I've had my car and the clutch pops out once in a while and the car shudders in 1st and 2nd when putting it into gear sometimes. Would replacing all these things be helpful?

Has anyone actually DIY-ed it?

Maybe the clutch pedal is just squeeking.

Mine did that ... just remove the panel below your steering wheel and
spray silicone or use grease on the entire clutch pedal arm (where the pedal goes up into the engine bay)... coat all the metal and moving parts you can see (or feel) and it should be fine.

the way he had described it tho, it sounds like a clutch bearing.

if he said it makes the sound by simply pushing in the clutch, without gas, and it made a muddled squeek type of noise, then thats just a quick fix with some silicone grease.

but he said he makes the noise when pushing the clutch in and pressing the gas. i had that problem on my previous car, and it was the clutch bearing.

mine makes a noise I know its the clutch pedal cuz I got mine from a junkyard and it was all dirty I should have greased and cleaned it before.
