Rock hit windshield
Guess who won? Watch out for rock trucks! The windshield is cracked from the very bottom
and curls towards the passenger side.

yea i got lots of tiny tiny rock chips on my hood. surprizingly they are on the driverside of the hood none on the passenger side. i can see primer white. on the passenger side of the windshield thre are like 4 tiny tiny rock chips. i have no idea y its all weird like that
Yep, watch out for those rocks! I was driving on the highway once, and a fist sized rocked came hurling at me, i was going around 60-70. I thought i was gonna die, but it banged on the hood and went to the side. Now there's a 1" scrape on my hood, its all rusted now
Here's something weird. I have a scratch on my windshield. It flows in the same path as the wiper blade. It's on the drivers side. I don't know what caused it. I's not bad though. You have to look for it to see it. It's pretty long though, about 6-8 inches long.
Wierd about that crack. I have one exactly like that on mine. I took a rock back over XMAS holiday and didn't realize it. Then, while I was out of town, it was quite cold here (13 degrees some days). My car is garaged, but still I figure it was probably a small crack with some moisture in it, and when it got cold, the moisture expanded and cracked the window. I mean I know I wouldn't have missed a crack that big.
I even remember getting pelted by rocks from the gravel they lay down prior to a snow event. I was getting hit hard, but thought I escaped unharmed... wrong.
Luckily, my insurance has a rider so that the glass will only cost me 100 bucks to replace. I have a 500 deductible on comphrensive.
