Help!
Ok i come back from leave on sunday, I get back to the base in Virginia to find out my battery died.
So i have a friend give me a jump, we got it running but the immobilizing key thing was blinking while the engine was running.( I guessed that wasn't good.) So i turned my car off in hope that it would start again... it didn't so we tried to jump the car once again. But when i tryed to start my car, nothing happend. Today i was looking at the fuses under the hood I recognized that my ignition 40amp fuse was blow so i replaced it. We tryed jumping it and we had his vehicle running the fuse didn't blow yet. Then i tried turning on my car, the fuse blew.
Now i don't know what to do and i don't want to have my car towed but i might have to im leaving to move to my next command on friday and i need my car.

These cars do NOT like being jumped. Best bet, get the battery charged outside and then try again. Jumping it could have fried something in the car. It's risky with these ecu driven cars, in particular with the weird charging system that the civic has.
Good luck.
Good luck.

yeah if you got jumped by a V6 or V* and he reved his engine while
you started, you most likely messed up your alternator.
Or, if immobilizer blinks while driving you have a ground loop short.
Trickle charge the battery and then remove the ECU fuse, turn car to
ACC then off, replace fuse and start car again.
good luck!

Ok after taking it to goodyear and having them look at it, they said i was sol and i better take it to an electrical shop. I was running out of time so i was like screw that, I then decided to take it to a dealer to look at it (another 40 bucks for towing.) They had it for a day, and they called me saying my car was ready. They basically said, "Its not going to be covered under your warrenty because of aftermarket parts"
They explained that the alarm/remote start i had installed was shorting out on the steering column, shorting out something in the ignition. $170 i had my car back (not to include the 80 bucks for towing and the 20 bucks for the diagnostic at goodyear)
