Speedo not working after installed headers

I installed a set of headers on my car yesterday which removes the cat. So my check engine light is on. I installed a CapsersElectronics o2 simulator today to remove it but for some reason it doesnt work. Also I noticed my little battery light is on along with the check engine light. I noticed too that my speedometer is not working everything else is cool except for the speedometer and the battery light. Anybody know whats causing this?

un do the positive cable from the battery, wait ten minutes, put back on, and that should reset the ECU. Or you can pull the fuse to ECU. I suggest doing the battery thing.

Update on the speedo not working/batt light on. Checked fuse for alterntor. It was blown. I replaced the fuse and speedo works now and batt light is off. Only thing left is the check engine light. Will have to contact CapsersElectronics to figure the problem.. Laters

did you reset the ECU? The check engine light will come on usually if you install an intake or non carb legal header because of the amount of air flow. Reset the ECU first and see if the light stays off. If it doesn't then take it in to see what code you are throwing.
