starting problem

Well the other day my car was jacked up in the morning. When I first turned the key it wouldn't turn over. The second and third times it turned over but died 2 seconds later. Finally I popped the hood, to see if I could find any problems. Nothing I could see from just looking it over so I slammed the hood down. I was pissed. I decided to try one last time. And what do yah know it turned on and didn't have a problem staying on. What is goin on?

p.s: I had 37,000 miles on it when this happened, talk about screwing up right after the warranty runs out

Try turning the car to ON and waiting a few seconds before actually starting it. This gives it time to build fuel pressure. It may help you.

Yup, I ran into the same thing, so now I always wait for 2 to 3 beeps before slowly turning the key and no problems for a year now.
